AutoM8 is a unique voice automation system that puts Amazon Alexa at the heart of your home automation. The program allows you to monitor your home via one or more cameras that can be controlled from within the program. It brings together many control systems under a single interface we call My Home for simplicity.
The real power of AutoM8 comes in the way of Alexa, allowing control over all your connected devices. Control your Philips Hue and LIFX lighting, Wemo sockets, Harmony Hub, Hive and Nest heating systems etc. The possibilities are endless with an ever expanding library of Alexa Skills at your disposal.
You can add additional plug-ins to add dedicated support for Hue Lighting, Remote LIFX Lighting, IFTTT (If This Then That) and more. IFTTT support allows AutoM8 to control practically any device or service you can connect to IFTTT. Create visual buttons, widgets and menus which trigger remote IFTTT applets to control your home automation devices and social media.
AutoM8 now features a new Cam Server plugin allowing you to turn your old iOS devices into video broadcasters which can be viewed using AutoM8 or other cam viewing software. Complete with motion detection, push notifications and video recording this is a great way to utilize old hardware.
AutoM8 is a great home automation tool for those who want piece of mind and visual remote control over their home. Maybe you just want to turn on and off lights or heating systems while your away from home, or maybe your looking for a nanny cam on steriods, you are only limited by your imagination!
NOTE: You don't actually need an Amazon Echo or DOT to use this software. Other modules work independently and the Alexa voice assist can still be used as a standalone assistant. Physical hardware is only required if you wish to scan for devices, but once devices are linked to your Amazon account AutoM8 can take control. Give it a go...
